Happy Veterans Day

Posted: November 11, 2013 in WODs

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, an  armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, was declared between  the Allied nations and Germany in the First World War. This Armistice  Day was later re-named to Veterans Day.  In honor of all of our fallen, please join us in connecting the  CFBolling community to  our nation’s Veterans, forged by the bonds that form in shared hardness  and accomplishment – through our own Armistice. Every month we will complete a Hero WOD for one of our fallen to remember their sacrifice.  To all of the Veterans and their families – Thank you.

Happy Veterans Day, CFB…hope most have the day off. Thinking of everybody deployed who does not. This WOD makes me thankful for the daily camaraderie – “3, 2, 1, go” is more difficult alone!

    (No box, sub walking lunges)
Rnd 1 through 2 air squats in round of 44
Rnd 2 through 43 lunges in round of 44

  2. Carl says:

    warm-up: 500 m row + 2 rounds of Cindy

I substituted 125 m row for the run.
    Round 1: 3 rounds + row
    Round 2: 2 rounds + row + PU
    A great little workout!

Thank you to everyone serving in our armed forces.
