Endurance Programing

Posted: April 1, 2014 in WODs

Do you want to run a faster or your first Marathon, 10k, or 5k,  or do you just want to keep winning at life in general?  Yes? then there is good news.   The first iteration of our endurance programing (EWOD) will begin posting today.  These EWODs are a supplement to the standard programing and are designed for those of us who dabble in the dark arts of longer distance/duration events. The initial programing will be running centric, if you are interested in swimming, rowing, rucking, and or biking please notify your friendly neighborhood trainer or leave a comment (I suggest talking to your trainer).  I suggest following the military prescription initially and then working up form there.  The best information available is on the CFE web sight at the links below,  use those as a jumping off point.

The EWODs will typically fall on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  You can of course shuffle the days to fit your schedule but I would suggest keeping pretty close to the posted days.  The EWODs will typically consist of a short interval, a long interval, and a longer tempo or Time Trial on the weekends.  Again please ask or post any questions, if demand increases the programing will adapt to your needs and interests.

And remember to live every week like it’s shark week.

The EWODs will not be “organized” per say unless there is an interest. However, I would like to arrange group runs on the weekends if there is interest.
